Dial Up Set Up  - With Pre-Paid Home Line

In Windows XP access your modem’s dial up settings

Start

Control Panel

Phone & Modems

Select your dial up modem in the list

& then click properties

Click on the Modem tab & untick “wait for dial tone before dialing”

Save

Then open the Dial up Dialog

In the telephone number section add in this information

your Telstra Pre-Paid Home account number

your PIN

your Internet Service Provider's dial-up number

then #.

For example, if your account number was 12345678, your PIN was 9999, and your ISP access number was 0198308020, then you would enter:

1234567899990198308020#
