Network Settings in Windows 7

 

If your network is prompting you for a username & password to access it, make these changes

 

Click on Start button, then Control Panel

Then Select Network & Internet

Then select Network & Sharing Center

Under your Active Network you will probably see that it is set on a Public Network

Click on Public Network

Then select Home Network

Then it will do its thing

Tell it what, if anything, you want it to share on the network

It will then create a network password

To connect to other computers in your network, follow the instructions here

Click Finish & you should end up with this screen

Then the network will no longer ask you for a username, password or domain to join it
